We know what time Haiden Deegan is racing this weekend.
The 250SX East Region kicks off in Detroit this weekend and we know the status of one of the title favorites.
Rumors swirled the last couple weeks regarding Monster Energy/Star Racing Yamaha’s Haiden Deegan. Slaw heard everything from out for Monster Energy Supercross to out for the entire year.
Slaw, being the Capital J he is, didn’t run with any of it. Nope, I stood my ground and waited.
Well, last night during the 250SX East Region press conference, Deegs confirmed he did in fact hurt his wrist in a crash, but that everything is good and he will be fine for this weekend and going forward.
“Yeah, I had a crash and it was just like, uh, I sprained my wrist pretty bad so I took like… it was only like a week off,” he said. “I was trying to train like a little low key. Wasn’t posting much for a while. Just, you know, kind of locked in. Didn’t have my filmer come to the track or anything and then about the last week or so it’s about go time. So, I was like we can get some videos up and get back in the flow of things. But, yeah, we did have a crash, hurt the wrist a little but nothing major. We ended up being good. So we have a wrist brace on it now for just a little more support because you know it is sore sometimes.”
