If you’re new to Unquotables, welcome aboard matey! This is a weekly feature that is filled with quotes that were definitely NOT said by anyone. In fact, Coney Island Dog made them up! It’s completely satire and we love that for us.

Without further ado, these are things that definitely WERE NOT said by the riders or personnel after the 12th round of the 2024 Monster Energy Supercross Championship, but we all know they were thinking it.

AMA Official: “We are actually thinking up more ways to camouflage the red-cross flag. One of the ways we’ve considered is to remove the red cross, and then wave it one lap before the chequered flag. Penalties galore!!!”

Justin Barcia: “I definitely didn’t mean that to happen.”

Jason Anderson: “I completely believe the AMA aren’t out to get me.”

Vince Friese: “Somehow, once again, despite doing nothing, I have found myself in the middle of every incident. It’s a gift.”

Will Christien: “……… “

Jett Lawrence: “Maybe waving the red-cross flag, would actually help riders see it, which is kinda the idea as we want to protect our fellow riders.”

Hunter Lawrence: “Not sure if anyone noticed, but I got a podium.”

Mitch Payton: “I’m not counting my chickens, but this season is actually looking pretty decent.”

  1. Yes Jett is right on the money they should have someone waving that red cross flag instead of it really low and not moving at all. AMA does some stupid things and makes bad choices.
