Without further ado, these are things that definitely WERE NOT said by the riders or personnel after the seventh round of the 2024 Monster Energy Supercross Championship, but we all know they were thinking it.
Jett Lawrence: “I was barely getting any TV coverage and figured the only way to get on the broadcast was to crash… twice… I may rethink my strategy in future rounds.”
Ricky Carmichael: “I really don’t want to say ‘Beast Mode’ but I will, as long as Weege says it first.”
Haiden Deegan: “I’m not sure why I ghosted the bike when I won. It just sorta came to me out of the blue.”
Vince Friese: “Another boring race for me. Good start, went backwards. Nothing else to report.”
Triumph: “Going supercross racing is a piece of cake. Not sure why we didn’t do this sooner.”
Beta: “Completely agree.”
Max Anstie: “I’m really happy. That’s it.”
FELD: “Maybe we should take that dirt that we’ve saved from all those extra whoops and put it on that exposed concrete…”
Aaron Plessinger: “I know everyone had me as one of the title favourites coming into this season, so I feel like I’m letting people down when I finish in third place.”
