Vurbmoto: Officially Out of Retirement This Weekend

Whew… this weekend marks a massive milestone for all of us here at vurbmoto, as we’re officially coming out of retirement AT A TRACK. We’ve rented a camper, loaded up on Coors Lights, bought a brand new tent and table covers, threw in some brand new straw hats to sell, and, most importantly, filled up the equipment cases with video and photo cameras alike. Don’t worry you guys, I didn’t forget my MiniDV tapes. This weekend it’s going down at the Millcreek Summer Classic.

Instead of pulling out of my driveway and heading there for practice today, Will Posey and I had to finish up some last minute changes to the final episode of Moto Spy, while I concurrently fell into the rabbit hole of YouTube vurbmoto Millcreek videos. As all of you millennials know, that typically seems to be a never-ending endeavor that has the potential to consume three straight days of your life. Luckily for me, time isn’t on my side, so I managed to get in and out within *checks watch* shit, about 90 minutes. Maybe I didn’t actually do that good.

Nonetheless, we’ve made some epic memories at the legendary Alabama battleground and we plan on making many more this weekend as we run around the track and become reacquainted with the amateur circuit. Unfortunately riders, I am currently suffering from some gnarly sciatica, so I’m not quite as quick on my feet as usual, but I plan on grabbing as many shots as possible while my back will allow. Parents… PLEASE don’t yell at me for not running quick enough during the 50 motos, alright? I’m trying my best out there! Bring me an ice pack and a 12oz ice cold muscle relaxer for goodness sake.

Alright, I’ve got to get back to work and on the road. See you all this weekend with my new badass straw hat.

Been 'round these parts making dirtbike movies since '02; a weathered veteran with moto and camera related back issues, the hearing equivalent to my great-great grandfather's, and a dirt tan that will literally never come off. But I'm still in way better shape than every other dog in this joint, but that's because I use Chili and no slaw.
