Vurb Investigates: Was Jett Lawrence Eating a Hot Pocket?

We here at vurb like to pride ourselves on our journalistic integrity. We like to dig deep on the pressing topics surrounding the moto community. We like to go where others won’t.

Following Jett Lawrence’s first career win at Houston 2, something caught our eye in the virtual post-race press conference. Actually, it caught Daniel Blair’s eye, but hey, who’s counting?

With pressing questions surrounding the situation, we decided to put our Capital J journalist hats on and investigate and find out once and for all: Was Jett in fact eating a hot pocket?

First the back story. Toward the end of the press conference, Blair asked Jett if he was eating a hot pocket, which Jett has denied. (The question starts at 27:19 below.)

“No, it’s not a hot pocket,” he responded to the hard-hitting question from Blair. “It’s protein.”

Vurb has reached out to our sources and confirmed that Jett was indeed eating a delicious Hot Pockets. He got it in the hotel lobby.

Lucas Mirtl, agent for Jett, stated on the record, “Yeaaa, it was definitely a pizza pocket kind.”

After further investigation into the matter, we’ve confirmed from the hotel lobby receptionist that it was indeed Hot Pockets Brand, Premium Pepperoni with Garlic Buttery Crust flavor.

So, there you go. You’re welcome.
