Unquotables, Hangtown: “Any Chance We Could Just Count Second Motos?

Unquotables is brought to you by Singletrack Project. We are Singletrack Project. We sell merchandise with the names of mountain bike trails on them. Pretty genius, huh? Shop now.

Round 2 of AMA Pro Motocross was held this past weekend in Hangtown. And while there were a TON of great quotes during the press conference and such, we went deeper. And got things riders 100000000 PERCENT DID NOT SAY.

Without further ado, these are things that definitely WERE NOT said by the riders or personnel after the second round of the 2023 AMA Pro Motocross Championship, but we all know they were thinking it.

Haiden Deegan: “I think I’m going to have to start publicising my results, because I feel I’m just not getting the coverage I deserve.”

Jett Lawrence: “I think I’m going to have to start publicising my results, because I feel I’m just not getting the coverage I deserve.”

Hunter Lawrence: “I think I’m going to have to start publicising my results, because I feel I’m just not getting the coverage I deserve.”

Jose Butron: “This really isn’t as difficult as I thought it was going to be.”

Cameraman: “I can’t believe I’m here in the 450 pits, missing the 250 moto, and then I get suckered into having to film the 450 race.”

Jerry Robin: “Honestly, I thought riding that 1980s two-stroke would be the pinnacle of my career, but I’m crushing this 450 class right now.”

Tom Vialle: “Any chance we could just count second motos?”

Jeremy Martin: “That really, really, really hurt.”

Water Truck guy: “I hope I put enough water on. Don’t want it to get dusty now.”

Advertising Execs: “So if we just give an unnamed, unbranded product to Jett, to take after a race, everyone in motocross will want it… interesting…”
