The Rundown Spring Creek: Romano, Thrasher Crash; Masterpool Injures Knee and Moranz Does Best Ryno Impersonation

Some amazing motos yesterday at round seven of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship at Spring Creek. Eli Tomac went beast mode again, but Chase Sexton went beast mode, junior? I don’t know what we call it but those two were flat out.

Jett Lawrence won again and extended his points lead in the 250 Class. If you missed the action, watch the highlights below as this is not a race report. Rather, just some things I found on the Internet this morning.

Enjoy.

Romano/Thrasher Horrible Crash

Damn, this was nasty. In the second moto Monster Energy/Star Yamaha teammates Nick Romano and Nate Thrasher were involved in a scary crash. Neither rider was able to finish the moto but Thrasher did get up on his own. Romano posted on the Gram that he’ll hopefully be healed for Washougal next weekend.

Ty Masterpool Injures Knee

Dammitt. Ty Masterpool is pitting out of a damn rental car and came out at RedBud and finished sixth overall in the 250 Class. He backed it up with a 13th at Southwick and then put in an 11th in the first moto at Spring Creek. In the second moto he went down hard and injured his knee. Hopefully he’ll be back soon because the kid was straight ripping.

Kevin Moranz Doing His Best Ryan Hughes Impersonation

Bravo, Kevin. Bravo.
