Happy Stewsday everyone! If you’re a loyal reader, you’ll know that we take all things James Stewart very seriously. I mean, why wouldn’t we? He was one of the most influential riders of all-time!
This week I decided that I would comb the archives and list out all of Stew’s premier class supercross wins starting with Irving (yes, they called it Irving back then) in 2005 all the way to St. Louis in 2014.
Remember, Stew’s goal was to also break Jeremy McGrath’s record of 72 wins. He sat second on the all-time wins list for nearly a decade before Eli Tomac passed him on the list last season. Still, the King remains unbothered with a 21-race lead over Tomac. A truly incredible stat, no doubt!

I still haven’t given up hope that Stew will make a return, just like Michael Jordan came back to play for the Washington Wizards. Tom Brady played into his forties as well. All legends decide to come back when they’re approaching 40, which is what Stew is will be in 2025. Heck, look at Billy Laninovich, he IS 40. Hey Stew, we still have time to go after this! Only 23 to go to beat the record! You in?
