FRO400: Here’s Everything You Need to Know For Race Days

Alright people, the Vurbapalooza stop of our 2024 Vurbmoto Shred Tour weekend is HERE! This year the event is going to be a little different, but it will make it even better! THE LEGEND CAM JEFFREY EMIG WILL BE HOSTING THE EVENT WITH US! Click the banner above, or click on the main menu link for more information on our event, but I’ll try to cover everything in here!

Fro joined the Vanilla Racing Broadcast to expalin why you need to race his Fro400!

200+200=400

What makes this a 400? Well I’m glad you asked. Our racing format for the Fro400 is going to be different than any event that we’ve ever done. On Friday we’re having a Mini Fro where we’re having 3-4 rider team race. Teams will duke it out on 150cc four stroke and under bikes. We will have classes based on age, so when you sign up the combined age of the team on race day will determine what class you are in. You can also have teams of 1-2 riders, or go solo by yourself. It’s all going down on a unique course with FOUR (4) miles of lush Washougal woods COMBINED with the national track.

On Saturday this is when you big dogs will have your chance on the course. The BigFro is limited to 150 teams and you must be 16-years-old to race it on the day of the race. Those links will take you to the pre-register page. We’re racing 3 hours and 33 minutes for the Mini Fro and BigFro, which equates to 200 minutes of racing each day.

Pitbike Straight Rhythm

On Saturday night we’re having a pitbike straight rhythm event and a hotdog cookout. You can register for that as well, because who wouldn’t want to shred a pitbike on a straight rhythm course? We’re going to kick back and have some fun after kicking our butts all day on the course.

Track Time!

You’re going to get a ton of track time. One loop around the course will be over four miles long. I’m not sure about you, but that’s a very long lap for me. Depending on your team size this is going to give everyone a ton of track time in one of the most beautiful courses on the planet. You’re going to see A LOT of ferns on your journey. It’s going to be awesome watching all of the teams strategize and try to win this event.

Greenger Demo/Stacyc Race

As always, we are here for the kiddos. So, stop by the Greenger setup to have your grom try one out. We’ll have demos going on Saturday. Also on Saturday we’ll have a Stacyc race. It’s always a great time seeing the kids have fun and to see the greatest and latest that Greenger has to offer.

Hang Out With Fro Daddy!

The best part of this event (besides riding your dirt bikes and having fun with your buddies) is getting the chance to hang out with 2004 inductee of the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame: Jeff Emig. Troy Dog has set this up so that Jeff will take 700 million photos, talk about 1992 RedBud, St. Louis 1996, and sign autographs until he gets arm pump. Sorry Jeff, but this is what the people want. We might even make Fro Daddy grill all the hot dogs for the event. We heard that he can throw down on the grill. Emig will have a team for this event and will be racing the same course as you! How cool is that?

Here’s Carson Brown with a course preview!
