Slawdictions for Atlanta 2: Career First for AP

We are one Atlanta down with another one tonight. I don’t have time to write a lot of big words for this intro seeing as qualifying is about to start, so let’s get right into my review from Atlanta 1 and some bold predictions for Atlanta 2.

If you forgot, this blazing column is brought to you by the fine people at FLY Racing, who have stepped in to support Slaw and #slawnation couldn’t be happier. Visit www.flyracing.com and support those who support Slaw.

Prediction

Yes, I understand this isn’t Daytona. Different dirt, more of a typical supercross, blah blah. Slaw doesn’t care about any of that. Eli Tomac wins the first Atlanta. Stamp it!

Read Slawdicitions, get smarter, kids. It’s really that simple.

Slawdiction: 100000 out of 10

Prediction

With Slaw’s predictions typically 99 percent accurate, that means Kenny won’t win on Saturday. But that doesn’t mean he can’t pick up points on Webb. This break has done more for Roczen than anyone ISHO (In Slaw’s Honest Opinion) and I think he finishes second behind Tomac.

I don’t know what happened to Kenny on Saturday. I really thought the break would help him. I, humble leader of Slaw Nation, will take this one on the chin. I was wrong. Really wrong.

Slawdiction: -0000000 out of 10

Prediction

Yep, that’s right, Slaw is going way out on a hot dog and picking Webb to finish off the podium. I think he gets fourth. Barcia takes third and Kenny closes the gap with four rounds to go.

Man, if not for a crash in his heat, I really think Barcia was inline for a podium. But sometimes the dogs don’t fall your way.

Slawdiction: 0 out of 10

Prediction

That’s right, I think A Cooper wins this weekend, just not Cooper Webb. Justin Cooper goest back-to-back to extend his 250SX West Region points lead. LEAD. SLAW. LOCK. OF THE. WEEK.

WE ALL HAD NATE THRASHER WINNING HIS FIRST MAIN EVENT.

Slawdiction: 2 out of 10. Hey, he got second.

Prediction

Coty Schock has not gotten enough credit this year. Dude is NINTH in points for goodness sakes. With that said he only has one top 10 finish this year. That changes this weekend. He slides back into the top 10 for a second time this year.

I mean, when you are right you are right. Schock snuck into the top 10 with a 10th and helped Slaw rebound from an otherwise sub-par performance. Thanks, Coty.

Slawdiction: 10 out of 10.

Now let’s go to ATL 2.

Plessinger Wins

Slaw is loving what I’m seeing from AP recently. He’s be on it and if not for a mistake at ATL 1, he would have won. No mistakes tonight, AP takes his first career win.

Lawrence Rebounds

Some of you dogs think Hunter Lawrence is out of this after going down in the first turn on Saturday. Nope. He’s still in it and when he wins tonight he’ll be even MORE in it. You read it here first.

Another Top 5 For Dylan

Goodness, did you see Dylan Ferrandis’ ride on Saturday? I didn’t either because the TV didn’t really show him, but I think it was amazing. Another top five at ATL 2 for DF.

Kenny Rebounds

This is a do or die round for Roczen. He has to beat Webb to keep this championship going. I think he does it. Second place tonight for Ken Dog.

Podium for Marchbanks

LEAD SLAW LOCK OF THE WEEK. If not for a late crash, Marchbanks had second on lock. He is good at these type of tracks. Look for a podium tonight.
