Stadium Style: Football Stadium

Best place to grab a beer and a bite: Miller Tavern and Beer Garden is the place to be. Cold beverages and great food. This is the highest rated local watering hole that is within walking distance of the stadium. If that doesn’t suit you, there is a place called On Tap that has a ton of great beers… get this… ON TAP.

Featured team to visit: If you’re roaming the pits in Arlington and you don’t visit Phoenix Honda, you’re doing yourself a disservice. Caden Braswell, Cullen Park and Coty Schock are a great group of riders, and the team is very engaging with fans. Head over there and support a team who deserves more attention.

Soil Type: Not sure this qualifies as a “soil type”, but this is Dirt Wurx favorite dirt to work with. A rich mix clay and loamy dirt, Arlington’s soil is often considered to be the best on the circuit. What makes it so great? Providing grip for these supercross superstars is maybe the most important thing but this hard pack soil might have harnessed some Dallas Cowboy magic. Ruts in the corners are sturdy with a bit of give and the jump faces don’t get really beat down which creates the consistency that riders love.

AT&T Stadium
It’s kind of hard to believe that Arlington’s shiny new stadium isn’t really that new anymore. Fourteen years into operation, the home of the Dallas Cowboys is not showing her age at all, mainly because when construction was complete is 2009, AT&T Stadium was the gold standard and state of the art.

Combine beautiful sight lines with the biggest video screen in live sports and you might just be overwhelmed about where to look! Cliché to say, but there really isn’t a bad seat in the house. But if I’m leaning towards anywhere to sit, I’m grabbing a seat on the side maybe 15 rows up to the left of the start. The over/under Bridge still might block your view from one of the back comers but left of the start would be my play.

There is a big gap in the broadcast after the first set of races during the night show. Skip the KTM Junior Challenge and hit the concession stands and bring your wallet because we all know that stadium snacks will set you back a few bucks.

Saddle up and get ready for a Triple Crown Supercross which will also feature the Supercross Futures!
