Practice Party: Glendale

Welcome to the Vurb Practice Party, where you will probably find qualifying times at some point and random thoughts from Troy and Slaw and maybe DBO. Hang around, it could fun… or not.

Alright, another weekend and another race! We can finally top talking about first turn pile ups…

Glendale is the biggest floor that the series has to work with, which always makes it more fun for us when it comes to the track design. Last year was in fact a Triple Crown event and Eli Tomac won the overall. This year it will be a normal race format. The only change this weekend is the fact that the 450s will be going first once again. We’re hearing that this change will be for the remainder of the series.

Also, after a tease of the East Region, we are back to the riders in the west like RJ Hampshire, Jordon Smith, Nate Thrasher, Levi Kitchen, and Garrett Marchbanks.

If you’re at the event, please be sure to stop by and tell Aaron Plessinger that he’s going to have a hat holder for him at the Indianapolis Supercross. Then, go over to the Partzilla/PRMX rig and tell Cade Clason that he needs to stop with the Cade Airs to front flips.

Steve Matthes is reporting that Chase Sexton isn’t riding at full health this weekend from a practice crash during the week.

Here are some bangers from practice by our friends at Octopi Media.
