POWER RANKINGS ARE HERE!
Troy Dog and Slaw Dog are back for another round of Power Rankings! Yes, we understand that other power rankings lists exist, but OURS matter more. They just do mate! We pull more weight and our opinions are always spot on. So, if you make the list then you’re an absolute unit.
The first round of the SuperMotocross Playoffs is here! We were just at Anaheim weren’t we? This entire season has been a whirlwind and the time keeps on clicking faster. A lot of riders are returning from injury and as always it’s veterans vs. the younger riders for the World Championships. Feel free to add your lists in the comments below.
Troy Dog
– Chase Sexton has the upper hand heading into the playoffs fresh off of his 450MX Pro Motocross Championship as a number one seed.
– Haiden Deegan is the defending World Champion and he is the number one seed heading into the 250SMX Playoffs.
– Jett Lawrence doesn’t want to really say it, but he wants to return to winning as soon as possible.
– Hunter is heading into the playoffs with a lot of momentum. He had a great summer, didn’t ride like a 450 rookie, and proved he’s going to be one rider to mess with for the next decade.
– Kitchen came on strong at the end of the Pro Motocross Championship, winning three of the last five overalls in the series. He’s going to be tough to beat and that is why he gets the nod over Tom Vialle.
– AP, the Cowboy is looking for a hair regrowth sponsorship and is thinking about dyeing the tips of his mullet before the Motocross of Nations.
– Vialle did win Ironman, but it was the only round of Pro Motocross that he won. He’s still going to be tough to beat in the Playoffs, but I think Kitchen and Deegan are the riders to beat.
– RJ Hampshire is a dark horse that no one is even talking about heading into the Playoffs. He’s not even in as good of shape as he can be, nor is he up to speed, in his mind. Yet, RJ is in a good head space and ‘just sending it’ may be the best game plan for all of this money.
– Hymas is getting snubbed in all of this Motocross of Nations talk. He answered the call to be on the team, is going to represent just fine, and still has to answer questions about Haiden Deegan not going. Sad.
– At one point during the Los Angeles finale, Jordon Smith was in the conversation to win the World Championship last year. I’m never counting him out of anything ever again, so that’s why he’s up here over some of the other riders.
