When Jeff Emig wants to be a big part of the Vurb Shred Tour you pretty much hand him the keys to everything and step out of the way. I mean, it’s Jeff Freaking Emig after all, right? So, we partnered with Mr. Fro to bring you the Fro400 at Washougal MX Park on June 14-16 as part of our Vurbapalooza Moto Festival. Today, for our Power Rankings, Slaw and I were given the task to come up with our best Mini Fro400 teams. This is for all-time as well, so we could have picked anyone, but we had to include ourself as well. Let’s get to it.

Slaw Dog

– I couldn’t decide between Ryder D and the OG Jett. Ryder D was so cool as a little kid. He had a Jimmy John’s sponsor, cool hair and rode the wheels off a bike. People forget, but OG Jett was a prodigy on mini bikes.

– Umm… how can you not go with AC?

-Umm… how can you not go with Stew?

Troy Dog

– I’ll be more thorough with my picks than Slaw is. He needs to step his game up honestly, because his explainations are wack.

– I’ve been telling my best buddy Jeff that any team with him and I on it will dominate and we wouldn’t need any other help. So, I had to include 1980s amateur racer Fro. Despite Jeff telling me that he weighed like 80 pounds and didn’t actually go through puberty until he was like 17, I chose him anyway. This is where his championship base started. He was chasing his older brother Bryan around at this time and racing every weekend constructing that race craft. We’d get the holeshot and check out from there.

– I’m sorry to Mike Alessi, but I went with Adam Cianciarulo here. AC on a supermini was like peanut butter and jelly. It was definitely a lethal combination and he won absolutely everything back in the day. AC would be the perfect teammate for this event and a lot of fun to hang with.

– I pick Stew all the time, because if you know me, he’s the reason I got back into this sport as a kid. His exciting riding style and winning attitude will always put him on any team of mine. Stew hammering the Washougal whoops on a two stroke is a sound you’ll never forget.
