Welcome to the 2023 Slaw/Troy Dog/Ginger Dog Combined 250/450 Top Ten Power Rankings! Slaw, Ginger, and Troy each have created their own list of who they believe carry the most power in the sport. They each have created their own categories and have weighted these people accordingly, whether its speed, following, skills, you name it. Or it could just be random. Basically, whatever is happening that week is fair game.

Each week these rankings will be updated so that you guys can argue about how wrong they are in the comment section! Feel free to tell us if we’re right/wrong/or completely dumb.

Slaw Dog:

-Suns out, buns out. After being cramped inside stadiums for 17 weeks, WE get to let our guns and buns out! LFG! Let those puppies breathe.

-Grates are coming! That’s right, Pro Moto has joined Supercross and MXGP and will now have grates. Curious to see if this actually makes a f***.

-My favorite for the 450 title. BOLD!

-My favorite for the 250 title. BOLD!

-Man, I’m really looking forward to seeing this dude outdoors on a 4 fifty.

-The great outdoors. Dogs, beer bongs and air horns. LOVE IT.

-Could win the title…. heard it here first.

-Could win the title….heard it here first.

Ginger Dog:

-Alexa, play Jimmy Cooks. Jett is my day one.

-The man tasted victory so he’s going to be chase[ing] the high. Sexton can hold his own, has insane skill, and is gonna top results. It’s what he does.

-New opening ceremonies song: “Down Under” Men at Work. Now go win, mate.

-I knew you’d be at Pala. You’re just built that way. More importantly, I’m glad you’re healthy.

-I read your response to Eric Johnson (credit to Racer X) SO MANY TIMES. “I think for people the outdoors comes down to just, I mean, having balls and being able to suffer. You’re pretty exhausted and then you have to gear up 30 minutes later and go do it again. So, it’s a whole different mindset. For me, it’s just basically trying to turn my brain off completely and let my instincts and desire kick in.”

*Mic drop*

-Jo, you have that quiet energy and you let your skills do all the talking. I love watching you ride outdoors.

-With a thinned out pool of riders I’m honestly excited to see what the young bucs pull.

-RedBud will always be my favorite. I can’t quite explain it, but if you’ve been there you know. It’s like an alternate reality of complete American chaos and dirtbikes. One of my favorites has to be the night track where someone hops in a trash can at the top of the hill and rolls all the way down. I don’t know if I’ll be there this year, but you’ll definitely see me at Ironman. I haven’t been since 2014 so I’m more than ready. This turned into a homage to RedBud didn’t it?

-Gear looks good. Bike looks good. You look good. I’m proud of you and excited to see what you accomplish this summer. Seems like a lifetime ago you went in for shoulder surgery and the pictures of the aftermath were WILD. I’ve heard nothing but good things from boss man Troy. I know it’s been a minute since I’ve said it, but I’m determined to see you race one of these days. Maybe this can be the summer that happens.

-Outdoor tracks are wild. I don’t get to many races, but when I do, I’m constantly reminded just how intense the conditions are. I’ll say it again. Bots.

Troy Dog:

-It’s time for OUTDOOR MOTOCROSS BABY! RedBud made some track changes and it’s my favorite national, so it’s a no-brainer at the top spot.

-Poppin Candy supports the sport and sent my family a bajillon dollars worth of candy.

-Jett has the most hype out of all the riders entering this summer and he’s an instant title threat to the 450 class. He’s only 19!

-Sexton is the true title favorite and wants revenge from last summer when he learned so much.

-Ferrandis is back! I think he will be back to his 2021 form.

-Hunter is the title favorite as this will be his last chance at a 250MX championship.

-Hampshire knows that he has a chance at this outdoor title and he told me that he loves the suffering that comes with it. He’s going to make it tough on this 250 class.

-The 450 class privateers are going to put in some career bests this year. I’ll be paying close attention to this and getting the scoop from them as they accomplish their goals.

-It’s summer, so do I really want a hot coffee sitting in me on a humid day? What should I do? How about I grab an iced coffee from Dunkin? That will do the trick. This was not a paid promo for Dunkin, but it can be. Hey, Dunkin corporate, let’s make a deal!

-I once made sure that Cooper Webb was safe when we sat him in a tree for an interview when he was 12. Hey Coop, I’m here if you need me, big dog. Coop is going to win some motos this year.
