Jett Lawrence Hurt at Indy 2

Man, teenage sensation Jett Lawrence took two big hits at Indy 2 and was unable to make the main event, ending his hopes at a title run.

The first came in practice when Lawrence went down hard in the whoops and took a massive uncut from his handlebars. He was able to walk off, albeit with a bloody nose, but returned for his heat.

Unfourantly in his heat, Lawrence landed on a Tuff Block and went down hard again, this time injuring his shoulder.

He returned for the LCQ and was able to win to advance to the main, but the pain was too much and he wasn’t able to race. There is no update on his status for Indy 3 on Saturday at this time.

Jason Anderson Hurt Too

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna, already without RJ Hampshire and Dean Wilson, lost Jason Anderson at Indy 2, when the former champion dislocated his finger in qualifying. He said the incident occurred without even crashing. We’ll update once we hear more.

Jimmy Hill New Video

Shift has released their latest video featuring Jimmy Hill, and it’s pretty awesome. Take four minutes out of your morning and give it a look.

MotoFite Klub… In Cars

AMA Supercross and Motocross legends Jeremy McGrath, Chad Reed, Ricky Carmichael, Ryan Dungy and Ryan Villopoto will line up against each other, but not on motorcycles. That’s right, the legends will be racing each other in…. CARS!

MotoFite Klub announced their latest event with the legends racing Traveler’s Rest Speedway in South Carolina (owned and operated by former Loretta’s Champion Eddie Ray) in identically prepared stock cars in an all-out four-wheel brawl on February 25 at 6:30 p.m. ET. Three additional riders will be named shortly, bringing the field to eight.

You can purchase the event to watch it on Fite TV for $19.99, however there will be a free bench racing/trash talk session on Fite the day before the race.
