Monster Energy/Yamaha Star Racing announced on Thursday that it has mutually agreed to part ways with Max Anstie.
Per the announcement, Anstie and “the team have mutually agreed to part ways, allowing the British rider to commit to WSX.”

Anstie, who reunited with the team in 2024, has been out since a crash in qualifying at the season opener at Fox Raceway.
Anstie won the SX2 title in 2025 and 2023. He finished runner-up in SX2 in 2022.
It has not been announced as to which team Anstie will ride for in 2026.
