Carson Wood Set to Make Pro Debut at Thunder Valley with Yamaha Star Racing

Monster Energy/Yamaha Star Racing will add another rider this weekend at round 3 of Pro Motocross as 16-year-old Carson Wood will make his pro debut for the team.

Wood, one of the most coveted riders in the amateur ranks currently, signed with Star Yamaha ahead of the 2025 amateur season and moved into the B Classes.

Prior to signing with Star, the Florida native rode for Team Green Kawasaki.

Coming off a dominate performance at the Loretta Lynn Regional Qualifier at RedBud in late May where he went 1-1-1 in 250 Pro Sport and finished second overall in Open Pro Sport, Wood will join a loaded Star roster for this weekend.

Wood is still expected to compete at Loretta Lynn’s later this summer where he will be one of the favorites to win the B classes.
