Ken Roczen Keeps Getting Kicked In the Ass

I have no idea if Ken Roczen broke a mirror or what, but dang, the dude just can’t catch a break.

Roczen was in the thick of the 450 title chase before the supercross season went on pause due to COVID-19. When the series returned, Roczen, who was three points back of Eli Tomac entering the first race in Salt Lake City, didn’t have any stamina late in the races.

Turns out Roczen has been experiencing breathing issues “for a few months now” and that he has developed a “mild asthma” that he was unaware of. According to Roczen, he got really sick in November/December and it attacked “the respiratory side of my body really bad” and that he has not been able to get rid of the issue since.

Today, Roczen revealed on Instagram that he tested positive for SHINGLES last Sunday!!!! WHAT. IN. THE. HELL.

Man, at this point you just have to feel bad for Ken and the team, as he’s dropped to third in points and his championship hopes are all but over.

SLC 4 was a bit better. Speed is great and i feel pretty good on the bike. 2 days is not enough time to get everything lined up again after a disaster race. As everyone knows i have been dealing with the virus for a while now and it also turned out i tested positive for shingles last Sunday. I know everyone is sick of hearing it and so am i. Unfortunately those are things i can’t control. I can assure you i am doing my part to be ready and live healthy and doing all the things i can control. Huge thank you to all my partners that have always supported me in these last few years and continue to do so
