Jerry Robin Provides Injury Update Following Thunder Valley Crash

Thunder Valley was not kind to the Minnesota boys.

Alex Martin fractured the radius and ulna in his right arm in qualifying and has already undergone surgery. There is no timetable on his return.

After winning the first 250 moto, Jeremy Martin, Alex’s younger brother, went down in the second moto and was unable to return. Jeremy, who entered the season with a shoulder injury and a fracture to his scaphoid in his left wrist, wrote on Instagram that “it’s time got get healthy”.

Jerry Robin was also injured at the second round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. The popular privateer went down hard in the first 250 moto last weekend, which caused the race to be red flagged. Robin was stretchered off the track, but was able to give a thumbs up.

Although Robin did suffer a head injury, it appears he escaped any other injuries.

On Instagram earlier this week, Robin said he’s doing okay, but will need to rest for a while.

“Man this outdoor season started out rough???? last week I chipped the end of my elbow and got some bad burns on my back. Then on Saturday first lap of Moto 1 I slid out and got hit from behind that ended up putting me to sleep for awhile ???? I’m doing alright just need to rest up and get my head back to 100%! Thank you to everyone that checked in on me I appreciate it????????”
