Inside Ponca With Prospect: Beyond The Checkers

The final checkers have waved and the trophies have been handed out, but there’s so much more than just championships hidden inside the Prospect app from Ponca. You won’t find these numbers most of these stats on the results sheets.

Let’s take a quick look at a few stats that jumped out at me as I took one final dive into the numbers from an amazing week of racing in Ponca City, Oklahoma.

The Battle Between Facilities

Game Moto and Oak Hill Motocross Training Facility, two of the closer facilities to Ponca had plenty of riders make this trip. So how did they stack up head-to-head?

Game Moto gets the edge

Game riders combined for 97,649 points, edging out Oak Hill’s 88,527. Game also grabbed 26 Top 10 finishes compared to Oak Hill’s 21.

Both facilities showed up up strong near their backyard, but Game Moto gets the Ponca bragging rights.

KTM Wins, But Don’t Sleep On Cobra

KTM finished Ponca at the top of the manufacturer standings with 480,063 points, but what really jumped out at me was Cobra sitting second with 412,867.

That’s pretty wild when you consider KTM offers a much wider range of bikes across the classes at Ponca, while Cobra is stacking all those points with just its 50cc and 65cc machines.

McKayden Fitch: King of Ponca

Speaking of KTM, the manufacturer points leader also had the rider who spent more time out front than anyone else at Ponca.

Across five classes McKayden Fitch piled up 13,430 points, more than any other rider at the event. But then I clicked over to laps led, forty-six.

That’s another event high and 16 more than anyone else at Ponca. Most points, most laps led, most classes raced.

I’ve enjoyed about digging through Prospect all week. The results tell you who won the races and took home the championships, but there are so many other stories hiding in the numbers.

You can check it out for yourself by downloading the Prospect app FOR FREE on the App Store and Google Play for live race timing, past results, upcoming events, rankings, analytics, tracks to shred, and more.
