Cooper Webb’s Classy Message to Rival Adam Cianciarulo Has Us in Our Feelings

When Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Adam Cianciarulo announced his retirement last Thursday for the conclusion of the Monster Energy Supercross Championship the industry posted zillions of heartfelt messages. One of those in particular stood out to us. Cooper Webb’s IG post.

The AC X CW battles were plentiful in the amateur ranks. Without these two pushing one another to the limits back in those days, they wouldn’t be the champions that they are today. Vurb was there from the origins for both of these athletes. To see one of the greatest amateur racers in history call it quits after an amazing career has us in our feelings.

We feel like Drake right now, for real.

To that, AC replied back in the comments:

“That square up still stings to this day.You helped keep me motivated at times I didn’t feel like I could do it anymore. I’ve always respected how you go about your business, and it’s been a pleasure to race you and watch you turn into one of the greats of our sport. Nothing but respect. Cheers, champ. “

Is someone cutting onions in here? It’s nice to see after all the battles that these two can look back and realize how lucky they were to have these life memories with one another. Your biggest rival helps shape your life whether you like it or not.

These guys gave us some great footage back in the day amd when Wes gets back from World Mini I’m going to have him make a video from the good old days featuring those battles.

Until then, here’s a sick Supermini battle featuring AC, Webb, Chase Bell, and Jordon Smith!

Cheers AC.
