Chase Sexton had a violent crash early in the Main Event in Nashville. He came up short on the double on the start straight and went over the bars into the corner. He was down for a bit before exiting the track on his own accord.
KTM gave a quick update on Instagram about Sexton’s condition and it looks like he checked out without any injuries and should be available to race next weekend in Philadelphia.
KTM also said that a rock cracked the throttle body, causing the throttle to stick, which made him crash. This news was first reported by Jason Weigandt, the singer of the Creed two stroke deal.
We’re glad to hear that Sexton is okay, that could have gone way worse as far as injuries go. Unfortunately, this put an end to his 2024 450SX title hopes.
Update:
Sexton haas confirmed that he will race in Philadelphia.
