It’s been 1,282 days since Blake Baggett has ridden a dirt bike. That’s his count, not ours. For us it seems even longer.

Lately, Blake has been more active on Instagram posting photos of his son Braeker, who now races. He’s been busy living the dad life. Yet, Baggett’s post last night was an Instabanger of him riding a Rockstar Energy Husqvarna.

This news has us scratching our heads a bit, as you would come to expect from the Baggett camp. It seems like Baggett truly thinks it’s fun to mess with us. He’s not making a comeback, right?

Here’s a link to the post because apparently you can’t embed it. Why can’t I embed it?

“1282 days… it’s been a minute.
Thank you to @husqvarnafactoryracing @foxmoto @oakleymotorsports #Jared #JR #Panda for making it happen” – Blake

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? Is he riding outdoors for Rockstar Energy Husqvarna? Is it just a possibility? The 2012 250MX Champion has a huge following out there that would love to see him lineup again. Is this just a testing thing? Are we trying to fill-in for the injured Guillem Farres? I’m so confused and I have so many questions AND I SHOULDN’T!

To make matters worse, RJ Hampshire commented “Outdoors???” That got my wheels turning even more. Stop teasing me. The sad part is, I’m teasing myself. Baggett has done nothing wrong here. He’s just posting a video of himself riding a Rockstar Husky team bike, that’s all.

Maybe he just wanted to ride again? I’m sorry if it seems like I’m trying to spread rumors here in this post. That is not my intention. You could say my excitement to see Baggett ride a dirt bike again has me not thinking clearly.

How cool would it be to see Baggett go out one last time this summer in a Pro Motocross farewell tour? We had the chance to see Ryan Dungey do that, so why not?

No matter if something comes from this or not, it’s cool to see Baggett on a dirt bike once again. Here’s an all-time Vurb video from Racetown 395 with Baggett before he turned pro, just because.

Here’s the last bit of food for thought…the last time we saw Baggett race was at Thunder Valley in the weird national schedule of 2020. It was October 3, and he went 8-DNS for 14th overall. We need to go off in the sunset with our last moto credit being better than a DNS.

Don’t worry, I’m going to be stuck to this story like glue now until I find out an answer to what is next, if next is a thing.
