Jeffrey Herlings was back to his winning ways over the weekend, claiming the overall victory at the 2026 Fastcross in Arsago Seprio, Italy, with wins in two of the three motos.
The Dutchman entered Sunday as the rider to beat after topping Saturday’s timed practice and winning Superpole. However, his day didn’t get off to the best start, as a first-turn crash in the opening moto left him playing catch-up on a tight circuit where passing proved difficult.
While Herlings worked his way back to fifth, Tom Vialle took advantage and grabbed the opening moto win ahead of Jan Pancar and Cooper Webb. Liam Everts, who was also involved in the first-lap incident, recovered to finish fourth.
From there, it was all Herlings.
The five-time World Champion rebounded in the second moto, grabbing the lead early and never looking back. Everts finished second, followed by Webb in third. Vialle appeared headed for another strong result while running second, but a late crash dropped him to eighth.
Herlings picked up right where he left off in the third and final moto, leading from start to finish to secure his second moto win of the day and the overall victory. Pancar finished second, followed by Everts.
With his 5-1-1 moto scores, Herlings stood atop the overall podium, joined by Pancar (2-4-2) and Everts (4-2-3). Webb put together a consistent 3-3-4 performance to finish fourth overall, while Vialle rounded out the top five after winning the opening moto.
