Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Casey Cochran released an update on his social media over the weekend on his status following a brutal crash in the first 250 moto at round 9 of Pro Motocross at Unadilla on Saturday.
Cochran, who jumped out to the early lead in moto one, had a big mistake early in the race and went down hard. He was unable to finish the moto and did not line up for moto two.
Per Cochran, he did not sustain any broken bones in the crash. The team has yet to released an update on his status for round 10 this weekend at Budds Creek.
“Well… holeshot to absolutely KO,” Cochran wrote. “Thankful to be mostly okay and nothing broken. We’ll bounce back.”
With the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna squad shutting down at the end of the 2026 season, this has been a pivotal summer for Cochran as he searches for a new ride in 2027. He’s had a career year with a season-high fourth at RedBud and is still top 10 in points despite scoring zero points at Unadilla as he sits ninth overall through nine rounds.
