Welcome to Morning Espresso, an awesome piece presented by MotoSport.com. Go check out RDRCO (pronounced “rider-co”) as the company’s exclusive riding gear. This new gear line offers an affordable option for weekend riders and the casual racer.
It is — checks calendar — Dec 18 and we actually know a few teams plans for the 2025 Monster Energy Supercross season in regard to which riders will race which 250SX Regional division next year. While this shouldn’t be an insane concept, it’s a rarity in this sport that we are less than a month away from the start of a new season and we have this information. Start of a new era? We’ll see.
While this list is far from final — and will probably change as unfortunately pre-season injuries are still very much a thing — I’m glad to see this list below and start thinking about who will win which region, who I think will have a breakout year and more.
We are still missing some key teams and riders — namely the full Star Racing Yamaha squad, Pro Circuit Kawasaki and Triumph, among others — but never, in all my years involved in this sport, have I seen a list this long this far away from the season.
Below are two lists: confirmed (meaning teams have already announced their plans) and expected (going off pre-season injuries, etc, what we THINK) plans for the 2025 Supercross season.
We’ll continue to add to this list as we know more…
