Welcome to a special edition Loretta Lynn’s edition of our World famous Power Rankings! This week Troy Dog and Slaw Dog went through the history books (yes they can read) and put together their all-time list from the Ranch.
Feel free to drop your own list in the comments below and tell us what you think of ours.

– AC won 11 titles at the Ranch and they were all on mini bikes! The kid was absolutely feared when it came time to race at all the amateur races, but Loretta’s was the main race and he came to play every year. Well, except for a very weird 2010 in the Super Mini classes when he had bike issues and left early. He could have 13 titles had that year went right! Anyway, AC had some great competition in his classes throught the years and came out ahead of them more often than not, that’s why he gets the number one spot.
– It pains me to put my guy JS7 in second on this list when he has the same number of championships as AC at the Ranch. I just think that the intensity and competition was on another level when it came to AC, so he gets the nod over JS7 at Loretta’s.
– Mike Alessi third? What? I realize Alessi was an unstoppable force his entire amateur career, but let me explain. Alessi only won nine of his 11 championships on mini bikes and two on big bikes. AC and JS7 won all their title on mini bikes and that’s a bigger deal to me. Also, that four stroke class was an interesting choice instead of racing Open A in 2004.
– The GOAT won nine titles before he went pro in 1996, but then returned to the Ranch in 2012 to add his tenth. Had he won 11 before he went pro then this list would have been harder to place him in.
– Millsaps sits on this list with nine titles, so he filters in fifth on my all-time list. He was also one of those feared riders who could really turn it up when the big pressure races hit, like Loretta’s.
– Believe it or not, but Jett Reynolds won nine straight championships at the Loretta’s before his bad luck started to hit. All of his championships came on mini bikes as well. These are insane stats considering he missed the Ranch with injuries in 2018 and 2019! He would probably have the most championships at LL had he not gotten injured those last two years, which in turn threw off his final A year in 2021 as well.
– It pains me to put Josh Hill so far down on this list as he has the same amount of championships as Millsaps and Reynolds, but whatever man. Hill won six straight titles to finish out his amateur career, but on big bikes, where the other riders won the majority of their titles on minis. So, that gives some priority to me.
– Tomac has eight championships at the Ranch and he won six straight to end out his amateur career. Fun fact: Tomac only raced one B class and chose to turn pro at Hangtown instead of staying amateur and racing A in his final year. He won Hangtown…so good choice ET.
– Windham won seven straight championships at Loretta’s to finish out his amateur career. He has eight total and he turned pro as the next big thing. It’s cool to look back on the rise of K-Dub and he definitely belongs on this list.
– Nick Wey won the Horizon Award in 1997 and then returned to race the A classes again in 1998? I’m so confused. I have to ask him about this. Times were different back then. It wasn’t out of the ordinary for guys to race A class two years in a row, especially if they didn’t have a ride, heck Chiz raced A three times! He was the first ever Horizon Award winner and he has eight LL titles on his resume.
