Unquotables, Anaheim 2 Supercross: Things Riders DIDN’T Say After Round 4

Round 3 or 4 of Monster Energy AMA Supercross was held this weekend in Anaheim. And while there was a TON of great quotes during the press conference and such, we went deeper. And got things riders 100000000 PERCENT DID NOT SAY.

Without further ado, these are things that definitely WERE NOT said by the riders or personnel after the fourth round of the 2023 Monster Energy Supercross Championship, but we all know they were thinking it.

Chase Sexton: “Possibly the easiest win I’ll ever have.”

Jason Anderson: ““The good thing about taking out Barcia’s Webb’s front wheel, is that I know he’ll just accept it as a racing incident, move on, and won’t even think about possible retaliation.”

Phil Nicoletti: “It seemed like a dumb idea at the time, but I guess they told all the other guys to let me lead, so the lights were great.”

Rick Carmichael: “What is going on right now?” (Ed Note: He actually said this.)

Adam Cianciarulo: “I don’t care what anyone says, I don’t actually enjoy getting passed. But it is better than crashing.”

Front Wheels: “Guys were asking way too much of us tonight, we just had to tuck.”

Ken Roczen: “I’d just like to thank someone other than myself.”

Mitch Payton: “I’m heading to Vegas after A2 to try my hand at roulette. Given the hot-streak I’m on right now, I’m feeling pretty confident.”

Jett Lawrence: “Could we have some more Triple Crowns please, they are awesome.”
