Troy Dog’s Shack: Commence Harlan Shred

In case you’ve been living under a rock the past few months, you should know that Grant Harlan and I are about to embark on a very big quest. We’ve got six rounds of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship to get to and Har Dog has pineapple shirt dog stickers in hand. He will be wearing them proudly on each side of his Arai helmet to represent the Troy Dog Squad.

He will be aboard his #76 Ti Lube Honda In the 250 class. This is a big step for the Troy Dog brand. Yes, we launched the squad with our legend and savior Kyle Chisholm at the first Indianapolis Supercross. However, Har Dog will be representing us for 12 grueling outdoor motos.

First look at Harlan’s helmet!

If you’re going to the race tomorrow at High Point or any other of the five rounds he is racing I need some favors. The most important thing I need you to do is grab an air horn and make as much noise as you can everytime Harlan passes by you on the fence line. Wave your towels, your shirts, raise your beer, scream. I want him to hear the squad! He’s our guy.

Unfortunately, I think the pits are closed to fans. I’ll need a fact check on that, but If you somehow see him through the fence, he might have a few extra stickers lying around. Get an autograph and tell him how awesome he is. I’m going to be getting a race report from him on social media after each event. We are going to grade the fans on how crazy they get for him, so I know you’ll want to win that contest.

I asked Har Dog to run my stickers this summer because he truly embraces the Troy Dog brand. He’s a funny, young, and rad dude. We’re only just beginning to make some big strides and it seems like a lot of you are enjoying what we are doing. Thank you for the support so far. The feedback has been awesome.

Har Dog is a young prospect who has already shown his speed. Last summer he finished consecutive second motos in 13th and 11th at Spring Creek and Thunder Valley respectively in the 450 class. Then this year in supercross he had a 10th and a career best fifth place in the 250SX East Region during the Indianapolis stay. Unfortunately he took a nasty spill in practice at Daytona and he has been out since. The injuries were very bad and they included a brain bleed, which is scary, but for Har Dog he didn’t sweat it for too long. That was a big setback to have, however WE are coming back stronger than ever. We have no expectations and we are just here to shred and see what WE can do.

Follow @HarlanGrant on Twitter and grant_harlan on Instagram as well as @troydogvurb on both Instagram and Twitter. I will be posting an update after each race from the man himself. If you want to see some behind the scenes photos and videos you have to follow us. Heck, we might even do a contest or two. Also, I do a Harlan check-in on Twitter every single week to stay up on our athlete. So, follow us both dammit!

Alright, Har Dog is off to High Point. The Troy Dog Squad is proud of you doggy!
