Some Hot Breaking Number News

We interrupt our post Anaheim 1 coverage with some HOT breaking number news. That’s right, we talking about numbers!

Five-time FIM Motocross World Champion Jeffrey Herlings is ditching his customary #84, which I’m pretty sure he has ran since 1978, for #1 in 2022.

Herlings of course won the 2021 FIM Motocross World Championship in dramatic fashion over Romain Febvre at the final round.

Here is what Herlings post on IG about the change:

“After 5 world championships, I will finally run the big #1 in 2022. I never had the balls to do so, but at this point of my careere it could be the last chance I could ever run it who knows, so I want to take the opportunity while its there. It’s a little change for everyone after all those years on #84 but I will be super excited to do so. And after the #1 I will definitely go back to #84 as #84 is me. ❤️”
