Lucas Oil Pro Motocross travels to WW Ranch in Florida this weekend for round seven of nine.
One thing I hate about these blabbering “experts” on ESPN, etc. is that they throw out the ridiculous predictions and then NEVER revisit them. They are NEVER held accountable. Not Slaw. Each week I’ll review my previous week predictions and grade it on a Slaw scale of 1 to 10.
Let’s review my Slawdicitions from Spring Creek and then jump into WW Ranch.
Prediction
I’m going way out on a limb here, but I got Dylan Ferrandis capturing the 250 overall on Jeremy Martin’s home track (literally).
Well, well, will you look at that. What did I tell ya! Not only did Ferrandis dethrone J-Mart at home, he did it behind 1-1 scores. Winner, winner, Slaw Dog dinner.

Prediction
I know most you doggies think A-Mart is a lock for a podium at his home track this weekend. Nope, not this doggie. A-Mart fails to podium at home. Lock it.
I don’t know what I was thinking here. WHY DID I DOUBT THE TROLL TRAIN AT HOME! Dang it.
Slawdiction: -4 out of 10.
Prediction
I’ll be the first to admit, Zach Osborne has blown away my expectations. I thought for sure by now he’d take a step back. Nope. He just keeps winning and I think he’ll get another overall this weekend.
Even without the flat tire in the second moto, I don’t think Osborne was going to stop the red-hot AC. This championship is heating up.
Slawdiction: 0 out of 10.
Prediction
We finally saw THE Blake Baggett at RedBud II, as he captured the second moto win and second overall. I think BB is starting to find his stride and grabs another overall podium this weekend.
Baggett is catching fire, doggies. Another overall podium behind a 2-2 finish and he challenged AC for the overall. Watch out for BB to play championship spoiler down the stretch.

AC Gets Another Overall, Closes Championship Gap
AC is on fire right now. Behind back-to-back wins he’s closed the championship gap to 15. A Florida native, I got AC getting his third straight this weekend.
Barcia Overall Podium
I absolutely love this track for Bam Bam. He only went 6-6 at WW Ranch a year ago, but that’s in the past, doggies. LEAD SLAW LOCK OF THE WEEK: Barcia overall podium.
No Podium for Tomac
I have no clue that is going on with Eli Tomac this year, but it’s not the same guy we’ve seen the last three or so years. I can’t believe I’m typing this, but Tomac has just one moto win and hasn’t scored a moto podium in five of the last six motos. Crazy! Anyway, I don’t see an overall podium for Tomac this weekend.
Osborne Rebounds
Yeah, yeah, not a crazy hard prediction, but Osborne rebounds from a insane Spring Creek. I’ll make it tough and say he gets second overall behind AC.
J-Mart Captures Overall
This title fight between Ferrandis and Martin is fantastic. I think it swings back toward J-Mart this weekend. Starts have been a mystery for Ferrandis, and I think that continues.
