Scary situation took place in Italy on Sunday, as MXGP rider Arminas Jasikonis had a crash and is currently hospitalized in Cremona, Italy, and was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury and has been placed in a medically-induced coma in order to stabilize his situation.
“This is a very serious situation for Arminas and a very difficult time for his family and all involved in the team,” said team manager Antti Pyrhonen. “After AJ was flown to hospital on Sunday night, he was placed in a medically induced coma because of the trauma he suffered to his brain. Really, there is not much else to say at this time – this is the situation, a situation that is very serious and difficult for everyone, and now we have to wait and stay positive. He has the best medical care around him, and we are in close contact with both the specialists at the hospital here in Italy but also in Innsbruck, Austria. Thank you to everyone who has expressed their concerns and wishes AJ all the best.”

Thankfully RJ, Russian Bob and Speedy Are Okay
Man, this sport can be brutal sometimes. Thankfully RJ Hampshire, Evgeny Bobryshev and Mason Gonzales are all okay after some big crashes over the weekend.
Evgeny provided an update after his crash: “Hey everyone, just little update after my crash.We did some scans at medical center and all look fine. That was 1 of my scariest crash for sure in the air i told f****k, lucky to walk away from it ???? Wanna say thanks to everyone for messages and support.”
