Slawdictions for Indianapolis: The Jett Lands in Indy

Following a nearly 79 percent pick rate over the first ten rounds, I’m here to bring you the most flame, fire, fuego, feu, Пожар predictions for the 11th round of Monster Energy Supercross in Indianapolis.

NONE of this would be possible without the folks at FLY Racing, who have stepped in to support Slaw and #slawnation couldn’t be happier. Visit www.flyracing.com and support those who support Slaw.

As always, we will first review my predictions from the last round in Detroit…

Prediction | Webb’s Hot Streak Continues

Following his podium at the opener, Cooper Webb went a very un Cooper Webb like 4-8-8-8-8 over the next four rounds. Well, THAT’S COOPER WEEB’S MUSIC, because he’s back doggies. He’s got three straight podiums and damn near beat Eli Tomac at his favorite track. His podium streak continues at Detroit.

Just gonna leave this here….

Also, Webb is one tough SOB. Should he have been allowed to ride around with one arm? Probably not. But that he did…. MY GOD. Dude has heart.

Slawdiction: 1 out of 10.

Prediction | Chiz Chizzes on the 250 Class

Death, taxes and Chiz Chizzing. Three things we know for certain that will happen in life. After Chizzing all over the 450 Class as a privateer, Chiz will fill-in at Monster Energy/Star Racing Yamaha in the 250 Class starting this weekend. And guess what? He will Chizz all over that class. Stamp it.

Chiz only had like two days on the bike and still Chizzed all over the 250 Class. Was there ever a doubt? No, no there was not.

Slawdiction: Chizz out of 10.

Prediction | Jett Lawrence Wins Again

Bold, I know!

Yeah…..

Slawdiction: 10 out of 10.

Prediction | Enzo Lopes Scores Another Top 5

We need to talk about Enzo. Dude has been a straight stud to open the 250SX East Region. He damn near had a podium last weekend. He is fourth in points. And he’s coming off a season-best fifth at Daytona. I like him for another top five this weekend.

Pretty sure I said TOP TEN not TOP FIVE. He finished ninth, so I’ll take it!

Slawdiction: 10 out of 10.

Prediction | Mr. Fried Rebounds

After a few dust ups with the Mook Dawg, Mr. Fried turns it around and WINS this weekend. Yep, calling it right here, right now.

Mr. Fried got Fried with a late crash but WE had a chance to win, so that means something.

Slawdiction: 4 out of 10.

On to the Crown Jewel of the series, Indy….

Pierce Brown Podiums Again

Pierce the Veil is looking spicy! He gave Jett a good run before making some mistakes and getting caught by Ram It. But I’m loving his style lately and I really believe Wil Hahn has been a huge help, as Pierce the Veil mentioned after Detroit.

“With Wil, he just holds me accountable every single day and that’s just something I’ve never really had before,” he said. “I think that’s kind of where the growth this year from last year came from. I needed today bad. I put together a solid day for me. I went P2 in qualifying, won the heat, P3 in the main. My first podium, I was P12 in qualifying and it was just all over the place. So, I’m happy to have a steady, drama-free day and just happy to get the ball rolling.”

He rolls to another podium this weekend.

Jett Wins Again

Bold, I know.

Malcolm WINS!!!!

I got a Mookie Fever, doggies. I tested negative for COVID, so it could only be Mookie Fever. Dude has been straight fire and a win is coming. This weekend in fact. Stamp it.

“So, for Indy, I’m pretty stoked on cause in the past, Indy’s been pretty rutty so I feel like this is where my bike could even be even better,” he said after Detroit. “And then the next following week is in Seattle that’s another rutty track. So, I feel like we are definitely in the right direction with setup wise. Again, it’s just a matter of getting a good start and doing what I did this past weekend.”

Troy Dog Does Nothing in Indy

For some reason, we gave Troy Dog a press pass for Indy. Bad mistake on our part, as he’ll do nothing all day!
