Based in St. George, Utah, Amped has quickly solidified themselves as the lead distributor for electric bikes, including our favorites, the Sur-Ron Light Bee and Talaria StingCheck out more on ampedbikes.com.

Following a 99.8% accuracy rate in 2023, Slaw is back to bring you some flaming hot bold predictions for the ENTIRE 17 round Monster Energy Supercross Championship. Stay tuned all season long.

As the greatest wrastler alive, Ric Flair, once said: “I’m the stylin’, profilin’, limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin’ and dealin’ son of a gun.”

As always, I will review my picks from Detroit Rock City before getting into Glendale.

Prediction | What Time Does Deegan Race?

This will be written at least 10000000 times across social media.

Did we ever find out?

Slawdiction: 100 out of 10.

Prediction | Dax Stacked

Rookies tend to have a hard time in their first SX race. Not Dax Bennick. Friend of Deegan, I’ve heard Dax is “flying at the test track” ahead of his pro debut and that does not surprise me. Look at who we get to train with on the daily. Stacked lineup. Top five for Dax in his debut.

Knock, knock.

Who’s there.

Slaw with some fire ass bold predictions. What did I tell y’all about Dax? Listen to Slaw, get smart.

Slawdiction: 100 out of 10.

Prediction | Triumph Debuts

Not going to lie, I’m pretty pumped on this. Triumph, one of the best motorcycle brands in the world, will finally make their debut at Detroit and we get to see the full bike up close and personal. Jalek Swoll and Evan Ferry will debut the bike and while I think they have some struggles, I have them both for a top 15 this weekend.

Knock, knock.

Who’s there.

Slaw with some fire ass bold predictions. What did I tell y’all about Triumph? Listen to Slaw, get smart.

NOTE: Evan Ferry getting punted into the wall doesn’t count. Swoll’s sixth place finish does.

Slawdiction: 100 out of 10.

Prediction | Tomac is Back

If I’m the field and watched the Mac do what he did in the final main event last weekend, I’m worried. Even more reason to worry this weekend, as Tomac takes his first win of the new year.

Ummmmmmm………

Slawdiction: 0 out of 10.

Prediction | #PeeGate Returns

Look at that 250 schedule!?!?! Peegate is back!

I have not seen any fines. Shame.

Slawdiction: 0 out of 10.

Let’s move into Glendale, the Crown Jewel of the series.

Half the Field Ends Up at Waste Management, Hammered

It’s always surprised me how many riders enjoy golf. You wouldn’t think the two sports go together, but here we are. One of the craziest events of the golf calendar–The Waste Management Open–is down the road at Scottsdale and that place is electric. I could totally see AP showing up there on Sunday, no shirt, chugging a beer. Amazing.

Kitchen Wins

I will not make a Kitchen cooks joke.

I will not make a Kitchen cooks joke.

I will not make a Kitchen cooks joke.

I will not make a Kitchen cooks joke.

Either way, he wins this weekend with the West Region back.

Jett Goes Back to Back

If he gets the holeshot, it’s over. Just sayin!

Tomac Rebounds

No idea what happened to Tomac last weekend. I’ve heard just about everything. Star Racing team manager Jeremy Cooker did tell the Weege: “There was not a shock failure in any way,” wrote Coker today in a text message. “His current shock setup is good on harder, drier tracks. When we got to the sticky, rutty dirt like this weekend it sucked the rear of the bike down and in turn gave him arm pump.”

So, there’s that. Either way, Tomac rebounds this weekend with a podium.

Trasher Podiums

He’s so good right now. I’ve been so impressed with him. Throw out A1 and he’s in this title fight.
