Josh Toth is a madman.
The Connecticut native won the Snowshoe GNCC on June 20, arguably one of the most demanding on the schedule, over Stu Baylor. Then, the lifetime off-road racer, drove to Southwick, Massachusetts, to race the Southwick National where he qualified and finished 25th overall in the 450 Class.
Great two weekends, right?
Well, the 2017 XC2 GNCC Champion wasn’t finished.
After Southwick, he and his mechanic drove 12 hours through the night from Massachusetts to Ohio to race the Little Raccoon National Enduro and arrived just in time to start the race on Sunday.
And where did he finish? Oh, he won that as well, over his Rocky Mountain Red Bear Kawasaki Team Green owner Stu Baylor.
He won three tests and finished first overall with a 24 second lead. “This has been a crazy ride. I was definitely tired today, but I knew I had to push through. The trail was incredible, and I had a lot of fun,” said Toth in a team statement.
He said the following on Instagram: “As a man of my word, I made it to Ohio National Enduro today, to beat @stewardbaylor514 🏆. I slept (somewhat) in the back of my van as @malone_22 @gravy.faint @nicole_vian took shifts driving the 12 hours, in the 18 hours we had to make it on time lol. What a year this week has been.”
Josh Toth is not human and deserves everyone’s respect.
That is all.
