There Has Been a Change in the 250SX East Region Results from Philadelphia

There has been a change to the 250SX East Region results from Philadelphia announced by the AMA on Monday.

Per a release by the AMA, “A routine audit on Monday, April 29, of the timing and scoring of the Philadelphia AMA Supercross 250SX Main Event identified a scoring error in the finishing results.”

On the official results list, there is this note regarding Pierce Brown: “39 – Rider’s 18th lap was incomplete and deemed invalidated.”

Not exactly sure what that means, but Brown has been moved from 14th to 17th in the official results, which you can find below:

With the adjust results, this puts Brown in a tie for third in points with Coty Schock with one round remaining.

Brown, of course, was having a season-best night running third late in the race, when he caught some wheel spin on the takeoff of the finish line while getting the white flag and cross-rutted going up the face of the jump, causing him to eject from his bike in mid air. He would land on the soft spot on the downside of the finish line landing.

The TLD team did not mention any injuries or updates on Brown’s condition after the race. Brown hasn’t either. We will update as we know more.
