Slawdictions for Glendale: Fifth Different Winner to Start the Season

Following a nearly 99 percent pick rate over the first four rounds, I’m here to bring you the most flame, fire, fuego, feu, Пожар predictions for the fifth round of Monster Energy Supercross in Glendale.

NONE of this would be possible without the folks at FLY Racing, who have stepped in to support Slaw and #slawnation couldn’t be happier. Visit www.flyracing.com and support those who support Slaw.

As always, we will first review my predictions from the last round in Anaheim 2…

Prediction | Wagemen Top 10s

Really liking what I’m seeing from this jerky. Not only do Robbie and his brother RJ sell jerky (go buy some here) they also haul ass on a dirbike. Jerky and dirtbikes, two things Slaw can get behind. Anyway, Robbie has been sneaky good this year. It continues at A2 with a top 10.

Just gonna leave this here…

Slawdiction: 100 out of 10.

Prediction | All New 450 Podium

Doggies, this class is DEEP right now. Sexton, Tomac and Ferrandis made up the podium last weekend. Not this weekend. A2 ushers in an ENTIRE new group. Who will they be? Slaw does’t reveal such predictions for free.

This was looking really good early. Then Tomac went nuclear and blew it all up. Yeah, and Sexton messed up all up too.

Slawdiction: 1 out of 10.

Prediction | The Red Plate Gets Fried

Yep, going right back to this one. Jason Anderson is riding, I think, better than I’ve ever seen. Even better than during his 2018 title run, ISHO. He trails Tomac by five points in the standings, but that doesn’t matter to Slaw. Anaheim gets Fried this weekend.

See above about Tomac.

Slawdiction: 0 out of 10.

Prediction | Roczen Rebounds

It’s been a rough two rounds for ole Kenny since he won the opener. That stops this weekend. Return to the podium for Ken Dog. LEAD SLAW LOCK OF THE WEEK.

Just gonna leave this here..

Slawdiction: 0 out of 10.

Prediction | JT Quits Fantasy, Only to Return Next Weekend

DOUBLE LEAD SLAW LOCK OF THE WEEK!!!!

Slawdiction: 100 out of 10.

On to Glendale we go….

Mumfy Gets Another Top 10

After a rocky rookie season in Monster Energy Supercross last year, Carson Mumford has been steady in 2022. He’s collected back-to-back top 10s and I think that continues this weekend.

Surprise 450 Podium in ONE of the Triple Crown Races

Oh, yeah, we got the Triple Crowns back, baby! Seriously, I love the Triple Crowns. Three races that ACTUALLY MEAN SOMETHING. I think in the 450 Class we see a surprise rider score a top three finish in ONE of the three races.

A Fifth Different Winner to Start the Season

For the second straight year, we’ve seen four different winners in four races in the 450 Class to start the season. Parity has been king thus far and I look for it to continue this weekend as we see a FIFTH different winner! Who will it be? That I don’t know.

Craig Wins Again

Yeah, yeah. Not exactly a bold prediction. I get it. But whatever. Craig wins and extends his championship lead even further.

Roczen Rebounds

Yep, going right back to this one. Has to happen at some point, right?
