Slawdictions for Anaheim 2: Angel Stadium Gets Fried

Following a nearly 99 percent pick rate over the first three rounds, I’m here to bring you the most flame, fire, fuego, feu, Пожар predictions for the fourth round of Monster Energy Supercross in Anaheim.

NONE of this would be possible without the folks at FLY Racing, who have stepped in to support Slaw and #slawnation couldn’t be happier. Visit www.flyracing.com and support those who support Slaw.

As always, we will first review my predictions from the last round in San Diego…

Prediction | Craig Triples in Cali

Bold prediction, I know. But what you want me to do, doggies? Dude is en fuego right now and unless he makes a mistake, he’s gonna win a third straight to start the season. Not all my predictions are bold, but they are all correct.

WE ALL HAD CRAIG GOING DOWN IN THE FIRST TURN, RIGHT?

Slawdiction: 0 out of 10.

Prediction | Tomac Makes It a Yamaha 1-1

That’s right, calling it right here, right now: Eli Tomac grabs his first win of the season and first on a Yamaha. You heard it here first. Tomac is starting to pick up momentum on his new bike and if he gets a start, he’s going to win this bad boy.

Pretty sure the red plate is better than a win. Count it!

Slawdiction: 10 out of 10.

Prediction | Anderson Takes the Red Plate

Love what I’m seeing from Mr. Fried. Love it. While Bam Bam has been super good, I just think the Fried is going to be better this weekend. He trails Barcia by three and I think he takes over the points lead for the first time since 2018 when he won his championship.

WE ALL HAD MR. FRIED’S BIKE GETTING FRIED, RIGHT?

Slawdiction: 0 out of 10.

Prediction | Malcolm Podiums

I’m not super confident in this pick, but hey, gotta shoot your shot sometimes. Mookie has been super solid through two rounds and for some reason I think he takes it a step further this weekend and grabs a podium.

I did say I wasn’t super confident in this pick. Give me that at least.

Slawdiction: 3 out of 10.

Prediction | We Get a Surprise 250 Podium Guy

With Hammaker now out, I think we see a surprise on the 250 podium this weekend. What does a “surprise” mean? You let Slaw be the judge of that.

Pretty sure Craig coming from a first turn pileup and dead last was a surprise. Count it!

Slawdiction: 10 out of 10.

On to the second of three rounds in Anaheim…

Wagemen Top 10s

Really liking what I’m seeing from this jerky. Not only do Robbie and his brother RJ sell jerky (go buy some here) they also haul ass on a dirbike. Jerky and dirtbikes, two things Slaw can get behind. Anyway, Robbie has been sneaky good this year. It continues at A2 with a top 10.

All New 450 Podium

Doggies, this class is DEEP right now. Sexton, Tomac and Ferrandis made up the podium last weekend. Not this weekend. A2 ushers in an ENTIRE new group. Who will they be? Slaw does’t reveal such predictions for free.

The Red Plate Gets Fried

Yep, going right back to this one. Jason Anderson is riding, I think, better than I’ve ever seen. Even better than during his 2018 title run, ISHO. He trails Tomac by five points in the standings, but that doesn’t matter to Slaw. Anaheim gets Fried this weekend.

Roczen Rebounds

It’s been a rough two rounds for ole Kenny since he won the opener. That stops this weekend. Return to the podium for Ken Dog. LEAD SLAW LOCK OF THE WEEK.
