Muc-Off/FXR/ClubMX Yamaha Names Fill-In Rider for 250SX East Region

With Devin Simonson sidelined for the opening part of the 2025 250SX East Region in Monster Energy Supercross, Muc-Off/FXR/ClubMX Yamaha has announced a fill-in rider.

21-year-old Australian Reid Taylor will make his Supercross debut with the team when the East Region kicks off Feb 8 in Tampa, FL.

“I am truly grateful for the opportunity to join ClubMX for the AMA Eastern Regional Championship,” said Taylor. “I’m excited to work with the world class team and train again at such an industry- leading facility alongside some of the best riders and coaches in the world. I look forward to learning from everyone, working together, and growing as a rider in 2025.”

While most not be familiar with Taylor’s resume, he did win the 2023 Australian Junior Supercross Championship and the 2024 with the Indian Supercross Championship. He competed in the 2024 FIM World Supercross Championship with CDR Yamaha and finished 18th overall.

ClubMX Owner Brandon Hass added: “When Reid was training here last year, we could see some level of talent as he adapted to our supercross tracks. Watching him in Australia this year, we could see he has really developed into a good racer. We have some time to work with him before we get to Tampa and we will be spending that time wisely.”
