Red Bull KTM’s Julien Beaumer will step-in for the injured Chance Hymas on Team USA at the Motocross of Nations this weekend in Ernee, France.
The team was forced into scramble mode after Hymas injured his wrist on Friday at the SMX World Championship Final and made the decision to withdraw from the event.
“We’re grateful to have Julien join our team and commit to representing the United States,” Team US manager, AMA Director of Racing Mike Pelletier, said. “He is the ultimate professional, with a deep passion for his country, and we’re proud to welcome him to Team USA. We also sincerely appreciate the full support from Red Bull KTM Factory Racing in making this opportunity possible on such short notice. I look forward to working alongside Julien as we aim to bring the Chamberlain Trophy back to the United States.”
Beaumer will jump up to the 450 on short notice this weekend and join Cooper Webb and recently crown 250SMX World Champion Levi Kitchen on the team.
