The 250SX West Region break certainly came at a perfect time for Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Jo Shimoda.
In case you forgot, Shimoda sustained a foot injury in a gnarly crash in the first heat at the last West Region round at Anaheim 3.
With the long break, Shimoda was able to get healthy and will race this weekend at round 7 of the 250SX West Region in Seattle, the team confirmed this week.
“Jo is fit, healthy, and eager to get to racing again. We’ve made some good progress with the bike in the last few weeks on the East Coast. Jo will have those updated parts for Seattle. We know Jo is capable of winning and that’s what we’ll be expecting out of him. Hopefully the rain stays away and we have a good racing surface.” – Iain Southwell, Team Manager.
Despite not scoring any points at A3, Shimoda still sits fifth in points.
