Jett Lawrence Update Following Glendale Supercross

Massive shakeup in the 450 Championship points tonight at round 4 of Monster Energy AMA Supercross in Glendale, Arizona.

In the third and final 450 main event of the Triple Crown, Honda HRC’s Jett Lawrence exited the race after dabbing his knee in the second turn. He was favoring his right knee as he rode off the track and to the medical unit. He was credited with 21st in the race.

After the race, per the TV broadcast, Jett said he hyperextend his knee and that he felt sharp pain. 

With 2-2-21 finishes, Jett finished 8th on the night. He now trails points leader Chase Sexton by 13 and sits fifth in points.

Update

After the race, the broadcast talked with Honda HRC team manager Lars Lindstrom who said the knee “seems stable” after an initial checkup at the race. He said Jett will undergo an MRI on Monday and they will know more at that time. The full interview is below:

  1. Bone on bone cut the meniscus. Had this same injury and did the exact same thing even thou knee braces didn’t do much.
