Jett Lawrence Offers to Pay Jason Anderson’s Fine Following Post-Race Incident in San Diego

Red Bull KTM’s Aaron Plessinger grab his first ever career win in San Diego at round 3 of Monster Energy Supercross on Saturday. He also took over the points lead.

But the conversation across fan groups and social media was dominated by the post-race altercation between rookie Jett Lawrence and Jason Anderson.

We’re not sure what was said between the two after Lawrence held off Anderson for fourth in the main event, but we do know if a fine is coming for Anderson, Jett has offered to pay it.

“Tonight I let emotions get the better of me,” Jett wrote on his IG story. “I let myself down in the heat of the moment. I’ll learn from this and my apologies to @elhombre21 it was on me, I’ll pay your fine. @amasupercross send me the invoice and per your request, free passes to the fan zone for the season. Sorry mate.”

  1. Someone is going to start understanding there is more than just ride fast and people let you pass to winning in the 450’s.

  2. Why is Jason Anderson being find? He didn’t start it and has a right to defend himself. If that punk did that to me, we would be off those bikes. Typical AMA bullshit!
