Muc-Off/FXR/ClubMX Yamaha’s Jeremy Martin is out for the 250SX East/West Showdown in East Rutherford, NJ, the team announced.
Per the team, following Martin’s crash in Atlanta last Saturday, he went for an X-ray where it was determined he sustained a collapsed lung.
“Even though he felt slightly better, he decided to go for an x-ray to see if he has an issue with ribs or something else,” the team said. “The imaging determined that he has the remains of a collapsed lung that was healing itself over the past few days. The complications from the injury make it difficult to breathe and impossible to get on an airplane and fly due to the cabin pressure changes.”
Martin is expected to return next weekend for Nashville.
