It was a tough day at the office for the GDR Honda team for Round 2 of the Canadian Triple Crown Series.
Both Dylan Wright and Tyler Medaglia had crashes at the Temple Hill Motocross Park in Raymond, AB. Wright’s was a very scary high speed crash where he came to an abrubt stop.

According to the GDR Honda Team’s Instagram, as you’ll see below, Wright has injuries to his lung, ribs, heart, and shoulder. He also has a concussion. The defending MX1 champion is still in the hospital. The team has obviously ruled him out indefinitely.
Also crashing was the legendary Tyler Medaglia. T-Dags had a crash at the first round in which he hit his head. He took the concussion protocol test this week and passed it, which put him in for Round 2. Unfortunately Medaglia was involved in a first turn crash in the first Moto. He was able to get back in the race, but later pulled off.
The team hopes that Medaglia will be able to return at Round 4 at Gopher Dunes on July 7th.
