The Race Tech Most Shocking Performance Challenge will recognize the rider who records the most total passes within their class during the 2026 Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Motocross Championship.

Eligibility

• Open to all riders competing at the event.
• Riders are only compared against other riders within their registered class.
• A rider must complete at least one officially scored moto to be eligible.
• Only official race results and timing data recorded during competition motos will count.

How Passes Are Calculated

• A pass is counted when a rider improves one position from their official starting position to their official finishing position in a moto.
• Passes are calculated as:

Starting Position – Finishing Position = Total Passes

• Passes from every scored moto during the week will be combined.
• Positions gained due solely to another rider being disqualified after the race will not count.
• A rider cannot receive negative passes. If a rider finishes behind their starting position, that moto will count as zero passes.

Winner

The rider with the highest cumulative number of passes during the week will be named the Race Tech Most Shocking Performance Challenge winner.

There will be one overall winner across all eligible classes.

Tiebreakers

If two or more riders finish with the same number of total passes, the following tiebreakers will be applied in order:

1. Best overall class finish for the week.
2. Best finish in any individual moto.
3. If a tie still remains, the winner will be determined by Race Tech and Prospect based on official event data.

Additional Rules

• All calculations are based on official scoring and timing data.
• Riders must be listed as official starters in the applicable moto.
• Race Tech and Prospect reserve the right to review, correct, or exclude data affected by scoring errors, timing issues, penalties, disqualifications, or unusual race circumstances.
• All decisions made by Race Tech and Prospect are final.
