Eli Tomac On Tying James Stewart For Second All-Time

In case you haven’t heard, Eli Tomac won his 50th career Supercross race in Seattle and is now tied with James Stewart for second all-time.

Pretty incredible. I honestly never thought James would be passed…. Until prior to this year when I predicted Tomac would do this. #amamediamemberoftheyear

With his win, Tomac is now tied with Cooper Webb in points as the series heads into the break.

Never a man of too many words, Tomac is focused on one thing: the title!

I’m sure at the end of the year he will look back and realize what it means to pass the Stew. For now, nah. None of that.

He was asked about passing James in the press conference and yeah, he’s focused on this title.

You just tied James Stewart for second all time in wins. Being in a battle like this, do you even have time to enjoy those achievements or are you just focused on the battle at hand.
Tomac: It’s special, for sure, but we’re obviously neck-and-neck right now, so I’ve got to stay focused on that.
