The injury news to continues to hit the Monster Energy AMA Supercross paddock.
Monster Energy/Yamaha Star Racing announced today that Daxton Bennick will miss round 2 of the 250SX East Region set for Saturday in Detroit after sustaining a concussion in a practice crash this week.
“Unfortunately due to a crash during training, @monsterenergy Yamaha Star Racing’s Daxton Bennick will be sidelined from this weekend’s Detroit Supercross with a concussion. An update on his return will follow at a later date.”
Bennick is coming off his second career podium at the East Region opener last Saturday in Tampa, where he finished runner-up behind teammate Max Anstie.
The East Region is off next weekend before returning March 1 in Daytona.
