Clueless | Loretta Lynn’s Day 1

The first day of racing is coming to a close here at the 41st Annual Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Championship. The weather is not the only thing unbearably hot as the racing action matched it. Here are some highlights we took away from the 6-9 hours of Racer TV coverage.

  • We slept on Dayton Briggs and Avery Long in 450B.
  • Can we get a Nate Hummel v. Kade Johnson battle in Mini Sr. 2 plz.
  • Also, Hummel launching into the sand was insane.
  • We slept on Cole Martinez too. Sorry Cole.
  • Gage Linville is not to be taken lightly.
  • P.Murph!
  • More impressive ride through the pack: Hymas, Linville or Hawkins?
  • Jace Baker ripped a holeshot!
  • Tyler Mollet rips one in 125B/C as well. What is in the water at Moto Sandbox?
  • Caden Dudney put Mini Sr. 1 on notice.
  • Some kid almost jumped off the side of the tunnel. The fence caught him of course. Maybe Matthes was onto something.
  • Mike Brown is ageless.
  • Weege loves himself a Carsten v. Grewe battle.
  • Logan (is) Best. Cochran, Pepperd, Fauser will have something to say about that.
  • Poor Haiden Deegan. Of course he ran into Evan Ferry tho.
  • Preston Boespflug about whipped himself out of a title.
  • The Pride of Denmark! Matti Jorgensen has a breakout ride in 250B.
  • Of course Mike Alessi (almost) won 25+

We met Jeff sleeping in a tent down the street from Loretta Lynn's... with his computer. At that point, we knew he would fit in with us. Then, he then drank all the white claw flavors none of us liked, and that's when we knew it was meant to be. Jeff officially became part of the crew.
We're terrible at asking questions, so we're not exactly sure what Jeff does for a living, but he loves petting his cats and dog, growing his beard, and living in a cornfield in Michigan. Jeff also likes to wear cycling glasses while driving his car and using his cameras. We like Jeff.
